At least it is in my head when it comes to my art career. Sometimes I feel like I don’t have one. That’s stupid because I totally do. One subject I’ve been thinking about is how I have entered a point in my art journey that I have never really thought about – the artistic age void. I am now officially too old to be considered an emerging artist, so that knocks out a host of grants I can’t apply for. I am also too young to apply for a host of grants available to artists because the average age you have to be is 50. Trust it, I see that age rapidly coming down the pipe, but until then, what is a “youngish” artist to do?
These are strange days indeed.
