So, I’ve been really good in the past with not eating donuts. Not so much lately. I have been enjoying the little cake donuts with colorful sprinkles provided in the library cafe on campus on an off for a couple of weeks now. I can’t help it! The donut beast inside has been awakened and it demands cake, rainbow sprinkled donuts until it is sated. This indulgence had me thinking about an artist whose work I saw a long time ago. Her name is Emily Eveleth. She creates large format paintings of jelly filled donuts. They’re epic, visceral and sexy. What’s not to love about a big, sexy donut?!
