I really enjoy objects. I never thought about it, but in my own personal art collection, I have a lot of 3D work. If money wasn’t an issue and I could acquire whatever I wished, I would definitely purchase a work by Robert Gober. The first time I had seen his art was when I lived in San Francisco. His work is about sexuality, gender mixed in with religion and the human condition. His work also has an element of surrealism. I may not understand what each sculpture means, but I certainly do not mind spending the time investigating them.
